I guess I just wanted to post these generally accepted unwritten rules of rp'ng because I think it would help the quality of this fed. Sometimes things just happen that bring everyone down or bring the character down and they need to be addressed.
- If you're new to a fed, don't be an asshole and attack a person who is statistically out of your league to "make some noise." Champions are champions because they've earned the belts, if you're new, no offense, but you've yet to earn shit, so don't try to jump the ladder. There should always be a respect for champions, and you can climb the ladder as fast as you try, but you must climb it. Don't be an asshole; earn your shot.
- Attacking somebody in a RP should directly correlate with a storyline, and should be done sparingly. It should never happen because you're trying to get back at somebody for beating you in an actual match. If you really needed to hurt someone, you should have out roleplayed them. Don't be a jerk and beat somebody up backstage because you can when you can't do it in the ring.
- If you use somebody in a roleplay, it's usually expected that you ask the handlers permission. It's not your character, and you have no right to control them without the consent of it's handler. If you have them in a Rp, using them is acceptable sparingly, but never should dialogue for another character be written by anyone but the handler, don't assume you can speak for that person.
- This stuff is make believe, never take it personal and never judge a person by their character. They aren't real.
-If the primary motivation for anything you do in a fed isn't fun, you shouldn't be doing it.
-Don't abuse positions of authority.
- As silly as it sounds, handlers need to respect other handlers, be cool with everyone, and please, don't be the handler who bitches and whines when you lose, you'll never be accepted anywhere.
-Never take this seriously, be passionate, but realise it's just a game.
-Most importantly, don't be hurtful towards people. Have fun and don't be a dick.
-It's all about respect. Respect veterans, champions, and authority figures.
Last but not least, make your character unique! Don't be a cookie cutter roleplayer.
Hopefully this helps some people out/ helps some people lighten up.
